Innovative Dutch E-commerce Solutions

Nijmegen is the largest city in the Dutch province of Gelderland and tenth largest of the Netherlands as a whole

Dutch SME Salesupply is helping e-commerce clients launch into new frontiers

The Netherlands is home to many successful and innovative startups and SMEs – as the core of Dutch competitiveness is innovation, this should come as no surprise. The country has emerged as a world-class knowledge, software and technology hub. Dutch companies are continuing to create new, innovative technologies in payments, e-commerce, security, robotics, and artificial intelligence. These Dutch solutions are increasingly conquering global markets. One such innovative Dutch SME is Salesupply. Known for its ability to optimize customer experience, Salesupply has rapidly flourished and is helping clients internationalize.

Tim Oosterbaan, CEO of Salesupply said, “For the last 15 years, we have helped brands and online retailers build platforms to have the perfect customer experience – enabling our customers to focus on expanding their businesses globally. Excellent customer service is extremely important for e-commerce companies. We offer native customer service in thirty-six languages across three time zones. We also have over fifteen strategically located warehouses dealing with e-fulfillment, promising fast delivery based in Europe, North America and Asia. These solutions allow our clients to reach new frontiers they would have struggled to enter on their own.”

Although the Netherlands is known as a hub for innovative new technologies, Oosterbaan commented on some of the challenges facing Dutch startups. He mentioned, “In the Netherlands, you don’t experience the same investment climate like you would see in Silicon Valley. A lot of entrepreneurs in the Netherlands don’t have the means to scale their ideas. More investments are needed, and a shift in the paradigm of investments is crucial to help emerging Dutch companies launch and grow.”

He reflected on his own experience, “I’m proud of setting up a company without any funding. We started from scratch with 500 euro and now have a company with 300 employees. We have international offices, and are proud of our achievements and ability to help other companies accomplish their goals.”

Oosterbaan continued, “When I started another company years ago, I wanted to expand internationally, but was struggling to grow my business with a limited budget. This inspired the concept of Salesupply, and how we help other companies grow even if they have limited budgets. We now have offices around the globe, including in Miami where we help American companies enter the European market. We do the same for European companies that want to tap into the USA market. It can be particularly challenging for USA companies entering the EU with the multitude of different cultures, languages and regulations. Marketing for instance could require a different approach dependent on the country. Understanding the market is one of the biggest challenges these companies face. We help them navigate this playing field and assist with their logistics, contact centers, return services, and more.”

The world as we know it is constantly evolving. The speed of technological advancements is unparalleled, continuing to exponentially increase with each passing year. With technological capabilities rapidly progressing, Oosterbaan added, “Ten years from now call centers might become a thing of the past. With innovation in AI voice-bot and chat-bot technologies, humans are being replaced with automated services. Salesupply is helping companies build platforms for chatbots across all languages. Our solutions have already helped over 500 top brands, including Coach, Tory Burch, Segway and Landrover achieve growth strategies and stay ahead of the curve with technological advancements and innovative solutions. We look forward to helping even more American companies in the future.”
